Guidelines for attending a Kriya Lightning Foundation Workshop
Workshop Guidelines

Please arrive at the hall 10 minutes early so that we can start on time!
When you arrive, please find a seat and settle in - feel free to stretch or meditate before the session begins.

Please turn your phone off or leave it on airplane mode during the session.

For notes, bring a notebook / pen & paper instead of your phone.

Please avoid alcohol the day before and during the workshop. No alcohol or drugs during.

If possible, please avoid caffeine or cut down intake the day before and day of.

Due to the original nature of the material, please no voice or video recording during sessions. Photos are OK.

Do not post / publish the original content of the retreats anywhere (incl. online).

General Etiquette

Please treat everyone with kindness and respect! 💛

If you have questions, feel free to ask during the Q&A breaks. Try to keep sharing precise.

Personal questions can be answered at the end of each session - Chris & Ariel will stay behind for 10 minutes to answer these.

Please don't eat during class to avoid distracting others and to maintain cleanliness in the hall.

When possible, we recommend using the bathroom breaks, to not disrupt the flow of sessions.

If somebody is experiencing a big release (e.g. crying), please respect their personal process and avoid disturbing them. If you would like to offer support, kindly check with them first.
Meals

For breakfast, we recommend eating a healthy and light meal, so you can maintain focus and avoid discomfort / fatigue in class.

We also recommend having a healthy or nourishing meal for dinner.
After a Session - Recommendations

The release process continues if we stay mentally & emotionally "open" throughout the day

If you notice sensations or emotions arising, you can notice and gently allow these sensations to flow through you

Try breathing deeply and softly, and let go of any "holding"

Please allow time to rest and integrate

This is important! Please allow time for rest, relaxation or gentle activity

Drink plenty of water

If you want an activity: try spending time in nature, napping, reading, or watching something calm

Be aware that the mind often tries to re-establish old patterns

For several hours after the session, we recommend avoiding social media, arguments and activities that trigger you or bring you into the mind (e.g. political debates)
