Who should I speak to if I have questions about my process?

If you are confused about any of the retreat teachings, please ask them during Q&A or after class.

If you have questions about your personal process, please contact Lizzy, Keith, Ariel or Chris.

If you have a lot of emotion arising, we recommend doing Open Awareness to help release any emotions! If you are confused about Open Awareness or need to request extra support, please send a private message to Lizzy, Keith, Ariel, or Chris.

If you’re having issues with another retreat attendee, please speak to Lizzy, Keith, Ariel or Chris.

Question 2

I’m having a cool / unique spiritual experience. Who can I talk to?

That’s awesome! Please feel free to share with Lizzy, Keith, Ariel or Chris if you would like. You’re welcome to share with friends as well!

If you’d like to share with another retreat attendee, please ask beforehand to respect if they are in a process.

Question 3

If I feel my ego is reacting, what can I do?

Accepted Answer

It is common in inner work modalities to experience emotional resistance when a lot of release is occurring. We recommend using the Open Awareness (Directed) self-practice to observe and work through any strong emotional reactions to releasing emotions. Observe the thoughts and sensations. If you feel you need extra support, please contact Lizzy, Keith, Ariel, or Chris.

Question 4

Can I take photos of the retreat?

Accepted Answer

You are welcome to take photos outside of class.

Please ask permission before taking pictures of people's faces! If you would like to post these, please ask people's permission before doing so.

Please do not take pictures of retreat attendees who are going through a big release.

It is fine to take pictures of the shala from the back of the hall (no faces).

Please avoid taking photos during class as to not distract other attendees.

If you are unsure about whether it's appropriate to take a picture, please check first!

The KLF will usually have a few official photos of the retreat as a group  - if you would like a copy, just let us know and we're happy to share with you.

Can I post pics from the retreat on social media?

Sure! If your photos feature other attendees, please check with them beforehand if it’s ok to post. 
For pics, feel free to tag us @kriyalightning (IG).

Please don’t post any teachings or content from the retreat.

Can I share the teachings from the retreat with my friends?

Accepted Answer

If you would like to share the teachings, please check with Ariel or Chris first.

Feel free to share about your experience (in fact, we encourage you to!) but refrain from publishing or posting the original content from the retreat.

Why no recording?

Accepted Answer

Please respect the original nature of the material that we are sharing with you!

It takes us a great deal of time and effort to bring you these teachings and techniques.

Until we are ready to release them to a wider audience, we ask that you refrain from recording or posting our teachings online.

I'm interested in donating to support the retreat costs. How can I do that?

All of our retreats are offered without charge so that everyone can benefit from the teachings and techniques, regardless of financial background. As a non-profit, we welcome your generous contribution to support the costs of offering a retreat.

Retreats may feature limited edition merchandise from the Made of Lightning brand as souvenirs that attendees can purchase. 100% of proceeds from merchandise goes towards supporting the Kriya Lightning Foundation's charity programs for inner peace and well-being.

All products from Made of Lightning are mindfully designed and ethically made in small batches with the highest quality eco materials such as organic cotton, recycled fibers, etc. We collaborate with local makers and suppliers to reduce our carbon footprint and support local communities wherever possible.

Retreat merch will be announced in the Whatsapp group for your specific retreat, or in-person during the retreat. Please register your interest with the designated organizer to reserve your merchandise as availability is limited.

Payment:
Merchandise can be purchased through the website via credit card, paid for via bank transfer or Wise, or by cash (USD or HKD). To minimise fees for the non-profit, direct bank transfer or cash is preferred.

Pick-up in person:
You can pick up official retreat merchandise in-person on the last day of the retreat. If you need to pick up your purchase early, please let one of the facilitators or organisers know and we will try our best to accommodate your request.

Delivery:
If you prefer to have your purchase delivered, you can either place an order through the Made of Lightning website here: www.madeoflightning.com or send us your mailing address directly.
