About the Event
This is a special workshop series from Kriya Lightning Foundation for the migrant domestic worker community in Hong Kong! We present this event in collaboration with Peduli Kasih charity.
In this free workshop, you will learn:
Open Awareness - A simple meditative technique to release stress that we have been developing for 10+ years. Open Awareness can be used to let go of any stress, tension, and negative emotions, so that you can feel lighter, calmer, and more peaceful!
Emotional Release - Our expert facilitator will guide you through a safe and supportive session to release tension, stress, and let go of emotions so that you can immediately feel lighter and happier!
The goal of this workshop is to teach you tools you can use on your own, to reduce stress, increase peace and feel happier in your daily life!
The class will be offered in English. There may be a live translator for Indonesian speakers.
This is a free event. There is limited capacity, so please RSVP! :)
About Kriya Lightning Foundation
The Kriya Lightning Foundation is a Hong Kong-based NGO dedicated to helping people around the world. What started off as two people figuring out how to deal with stress and emotional discomfort 10 years ago evolved into a journey to share discoveries of original techniques such as Open Awareness, to help others find peace and happiness within themselves.
We offer practical methods to train the mind and body to let go of attachments and resistances through meditative techniques. Our Open Awareness technique is a culmination of 10 years of refinement, designed with goals to help increase clarity and meet emotional challenges with proven results from our testimonials from our community.
Whether you’re looking to give meditation a try for the first time, or you’re an expert looking to expand your knowledge, our sessions and workshops cater to all who are looking to have a better relationship with themselves.
As a Kriya Lightning facilitator, academic, and teacher and speaker on meditation for over 10 years, Keith has long had a passion for supporting the educational and emotional growth of others. Keith has an M.A. in Clinical Psychology with a concentration in Spirituality & Mind Body Practices from Columbia University. He has guest lectured on the topic of meditation at three universities (Columbia University, Montclaire State University, Hong Kong Polytechnic University) and three boarding schools in Indonesia. He also holds certificates in Breath of Bliss breathwork meditation, Singing Bowl Meditation, and Reiki level 1 & 2. Keith has previously mentored students at the King’s Academy in Jordan, and volunteered for the Putera Sampoerna Foundation, a social organization dedicated to supporting financially disadvantaged students throughout Indonesia.
